TALPI-OT – A Tribute to the Signage of the Talpiot Industrial Zone.
Throughout 2024, I wandered through the Talpiot industrial zone in Jerusalem, drawn by my fascination with its signage and typography. During my explorations, I identified intriguing typographic phenomena: weathered signs worn down by time, various sign-making techniques, unconventional use of existing letters, and typefaces that appeared repeatedly across multiple signs.
From this documentation, I developed three new typefaces, each based on existing models. Each typeface reflects a distinct typographic phenomenon I observed.

The new typefaces are presented in a web format, showcasing branding concepts for cultural projects taking place in the industrial zone.
